English Nursery

In Seaview is a nursery which began as a secret garden. Behind the old J&B Seafood store lived a British woman and her American spouse whose garden was the perfect example of the phrase "a riot of colour".

She grew so many plants from seed that soon they were selling plants, and after they moved to a nearby lot, the garden became a nursery. Now run by their son, Dirk, and daughter-in-law, Jane, the English Nursery, located at the entrance to the Peninsula's main highway, is the first stop for gardeners visiting the beach. Eventually, the seafood shop might become an English Teashop.
