Boardwalk Cottages, near downtown Long Beach, has an entry garden lush with flowers and containers on the decks of each quaint cottage. We help the friendly owners, Pat and Bill, with maintenance and with the choice of plants for a small space swept by beach wind. Each year, the garden becomes more diverse and interesting.

Sedum 'Autumn Joy'
though small, the pool provides
a home for a few fish
and a waterlily
Escallonia grows beside the pond
